How Anthem gives thanks.
The best thing about Anthem is that it’s a true community. Maybe it’s because of all the amenities and events we share, but for whatever reason, the “hellos” and dinner invitations seem to flow a little more easily here. And when November rolls around, people always find a way to get together and give thanks.
This year, Anthem Ranch neighbors will gather once again at Aspen Lodge for a full-on Thanksgiving celebration. (Translation: no clean up at home, another reason to be thankful.) This will be the 9th Annual Community Thanksgiving, lasting two nights, and residents will enjoy hand-carved turkey, mashed potatoes and other tasty trimmings. While encouraging home chefs to bring and share their families’ own favorite dishes.
Over in Anthem Highlands, Thanksgiving is celebrated a little less traditionally—but with just as much fun—at Friendsgiving Trivia Night. Friendly competition is on the menu, along with a catered turkey dinner and potluck side dishes, as friends and family vied for prizes. Hosted by the ever-popular Geeks Who Drink trivia experts, the event is held at the neighborhood Parkside Center.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
