Anthem Community Garage Sale May 18-19

Once a year, residents of Anthem Highlands and Anthem Ranch clean out their closets and basements for a community garage sale. This year’s sale is scheduled for May 18 and 19, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

To help residents with the sale, the community associations of both neighborhoods place ads in local publications and post signs directing traffic into the communities. They also prepare maps showing bargain hunters which homes in the communities have items for sale.

To obtain a map, stop by Aspen Lodge in the Anthem Ranch neighborhood or Parkside Community Center in Anthem Highlands on the days of the sale. Signs will also be posted within the neighborhoods, directing shoppers to participating homes.

YMCA Summer Camp comes to Anthem Highlands

When you’re a resident of the Anthem Highlands community of Anthem Colorado, you don’t need to send the kids off to summer camp. The Denver YMCA brings its summer day camp to Anthem’s Parkside Recreation Center.
The summer camp program for children age 5-12 runs weekly this year from May 29 through Aug. 17. Residents can enroll their children for one or more weeks, or for the entire summer.

The camp features a different theme each week. For instance, campers will be exploring amazing animals, from bugs to bears to reptiles, in the second week, team competitions in week four, different cultures of the world in week eight, and science projects in week 11. And of course there will be lots of games and physical fitness activities every week.

The cost for residents is $155 per week per child.

But the Y summer program at Parkside Recreation Center is offered only to residents of Anthem Highlands. That’s just one more reason why you and your family should consider buying a home here.
